The Annual Load Book was designed by a 3rd generation owner operator with serveral years as both a fleet owner and an owner operator. It has been my experience that you have to know what you are doing first to be able to stay on top of your program and not wake up one morning out of business. The Annual load Book is a tool that helps me stay on track.

Happy New Year

It is my hope that 2017 finds everybody doing well.

I know that 2016 was a slow year and has left many of us looking at our bottom line.

2017 is projected to be better and industry projections for 2018 are looking to set records in overall freight tonnage needed. So it is my endevoe to keep working on the App and make it the most valuable tool that we use to keep track of the important things and keep a close eye on our program.

I have reset the totals to reflect 2017 Data. The load data for 2016 will still be there for you to see however the 2016 totals are not there.

If anyone wants the summary totals for 2016 can contact me using the new link in the menu that is for contacting support.

The charts work a little different now, now when you select the chart for income data it will open up to Jan of the current year then just swip the screen to move to the next month. I like this better for a summary view and I may use it instead of the summary selection on the bottom.

As of right now there is still no charge for the App as we are still working on it and I hope that everyone will take a minute to let me know if you have any concerns.

A while back Anthony had asked me if we could add an option to add a photo of a receipt to a data option. I was concerned about how much data that would take up on the server where your data is stored. Great news we can do that now as working with the technitions at the server company, they have been able to set the images so that they do not overload the server.

What I have done is added an Expense column. It is located where the Cost per Mile option was. I moved the Cost Per Mile view up to the Menu at the top left. The Expense option is there for you to use as you want to, so simply add the expense categories that you want to use and track. As of right now you can add these expenses however they will not calculate the totals until next year 2017. But it is my suggestion that you start adding the expenses that you want to track anyway.

Another addition to the Expense column is the ability to add an image of the receipt right to the data information. Simply tap the camera icon on the bottom of the expense you added and select take photo or add an image from your gallery

Coming in 2017

In 2017 the summmaries will change so that they only summarize 2017 Data for revenue, miles, cost per mile, Expenses and a NEW Gallons per mile summary (suggested by app user Anthony ). Some of these changes will take place throughout the year, however I will strive to have them done as soon as possible

Please contact me if you have any concerns or ideas about the App and what would make it more valuable to you to use

The summary option has been updated with a monthly view option. To select the month that you wish to view simple select the edit button and the tap the "Month" row and a drop down selection of months, tap the month that you are interested in and then tap save.

NOTE: you may need totap the SYNC button to see your monthly selection as this will force the app to resync with the server.

I am so glad that you are using the Annual Load Book and I value any and all of your thoughts and suggestions. Good or Bad all of them will help me make a better app for us to use. Online instructions for using the app can be found here. Load Book Instructions

The Points of Interest view is open to everybody. The information here is shared amongst all of the Annual Load Book app users. This is a handy place to keep all of those holes in the walls that only you know about because of you been there before. So share these places with other drivers and they will share their places too.

This tab started because I kept losing the notebook that I was writing this information down. It the concept of AnnualLoadBook. A more convenient place to keep that information that has always been elusive. I have been a driver for 30 years and I know well the difficulties that we all go through doing our job. For me, the app makes my job a little simpler and it has made me a better manager of my career.
